hey

so the blog seems to go in spurts with activity here. Ben congrats. that said you better not be havign a fast wedding and getting married before i make it back. not much new going on over here. as my mom stated before i have made it to the pool that is at a base close by once. i jump a 20min shuttle ride then walk about a mile to get there but it was def fun and something to break up the day. does anyone use yahoo messenger? rumor is you can talk online through it for free but i don't know anyone who has it. if any is on it let me know or send me an email...i dont want to post my IM name for millions of people to see. i mean i'd be harassed constantly with thousand of women and couldn't' get work done. i do have one request for the upcoming wedding. can matt's head replace the matt looking like an idiot for the photo? i think since i was given admin right i can actually switch it out with a more flattering picture (kenny looking your way here). how is the new house hunting going anyway? why weren't you all down there a few years ago and i could have made the trip from fayetteville there. ok well hope everyone is doing well and talk to you all later

I bet you did one serious cannonball into that pool. I imagine it was pretty hot water - they should outfit it with an air conditioner just like they have heaters in some here.

The house hunting has been completed - we're renting what seems to be a very nice apartment. Though real estate is awesome down there, we just aren't too committed to the area just yet. If we're leaving in two years I don't want to be selling a house.

We may not have been down there when you were in Fayetville, but we will be just a five hour drive from Savannah. We'll be there to welcome you home so no worries.

If you are bored and want to something you can do, you can email us some tips for our drivers test (yes, it seems we have to take it again).

Glad to hear from you Matt. Guess it puts everything into perspective for us over here since you are able to get excited about a pool. I hope it was cold water!! I didn't even think about the possibility that it could be hot.

Yes, we will replace your current picture with a "Matt Head" pic soon after the wedding occurrs. I will be sure to get all the pretty girls at the wedding in the pic with you.

It's looking like I am going to be in Dubai in February. That means I will be very close in proximity to you, albeit worlds away. When is your leave? Will it be around that time? Will you go to Germany? I'm just asking cause we are flying through there to get to Dubai and I could always make a vacation of it. It would be so cool if the timing was perfect and you were there at the same time. :0)

Glad you have time to walk a mile,
how about a call!! I need a break from Mom. Uncle Tim came down & we put a hurting on the fish. I dont think there is a fish left. I found a hot place to catch mussels we got about 30 of them but I dont think Tim was excited about catching them. It went like this: Uncle Tim, Hip boots, the marsh, and hogh tide, The mussels were not real fast but Tim seemed to have a problem catching them. He was glad to get back in the boat. But all in all we had a good time.

Let's just note that the fish picture is an old one, not current. I don't think the fish need to worry about your dad and Uncle Tim.
Glad to hear from you Matt. Wish it was more often, but guess you have lots to do.
We will miss you at the wedding, but you will be with us indirectly with "the head."
